Fall 2023 Foundations: 4-Saturdays (September 9, 23, 30 & October 7)

Foundations in Project Management – 28 Hours
New to project management and need to ramp up your skills in a hurry? If so then this is the course for you. You will learn a good bit about everything project management. The course starts with why and how projects get started. Then goes into the planning basics of scope schedule and budget and how to create a project plan. You will also see how to manage a project team and manage risk.
Our instructors are all PMP-certified practitioners with experience in a variety of professions and who possess numerous academic credentials. This 28-hour course provides an in-depth review of project management principles and provides a proven and sound foundation of project management basics, practical examples and exercises to mimic real life.
This course will help students increase their knowledge and confidence to be successful in managing projects of all sizes and complexities. Students will be able to immediately apply what they learn on the job.
The course aligns with the current PMP Exam Content Outline. The hours that you spend taking this course can be applied to the 35-hour education requirement needed to sit for the PMP Exam.
Fall 2023 CAPM: 3-Saturdays (October 14, 21, 28)

PMI’s ATP CAPM®(Certified Associate in Project Management) Exam Prep – 24 Hours
New to Project Management and seeking a certification that demonstrates your knowledge of Project Management practices? The CAPM certification may be right for you as it does not require years Project Management experience to become certified. This 24-hour preparation course meets the 23-hour requirement to apply for and to take CAPM Exam and is intended for those who are new to project management, or who have less than the practical experience needed to take the PMP Exam. The focus is on how best to prepare, study for, and take the CAPM credential examination. A review of material normally covered in the exam will be presented. Students will receive sample questions of the type given on the exam. The PMP 35 education hours requirement is waived for CAPM certification holders.
Fall 2023 PMP: 5-Saturdays (October 14, 21, 28 & November 4, 11)

PMI’s ATP PMP® Exam Prep Course – 35 Hours
PMI-DVC is a PMI Authorized Training Partner (ATP) and is specially trained and qualified to teach PMI’s PMP Exam Prep course. This intense, 35-hour preparation course contains five modules that immerse students in real-world scenarios, representing various industries and project management situations to help you practice applying principles and concepts at work. This course meets the 35-hour requirement to apply to take PMP Exam and is intended for those who are experienced in project management, or who have already taken project management courses. The focus is on how best to prepare, study for, and take the PMP credential examination. A review of material normally covered in the exam will be presented. Successful completion of this course ensures that students will automatically meet the 35-hour education requirement in order to apply for and take the exam and that their Education hours will not be subject to audit.
Vets2PM Course Offerings
Vets2PM is an organization that helps Military Members become Project Managers. They offer veteran-specific training programs, which bridge industry and profession. The organization provides several different options for training, such as Evening and Daytime live webinars for PMP and CAPM exams.
