Topic: PMI M.O.R.E. Our Vision Forward

Event Description

In this session Brian Gregory, PMI Region Mentor provides chapter leaders with a clear, high-level introduction to PMI’s MORE Strategy—an organizational framework designed to strengthen chapters and enhance the overall PMI community experience. We will explore what MORE represents and why PMI is adopting this unified approach to guide how chapters deliver value, operate effectively, and connect with members and stakeholders. The session will outline the intent behind the strategy, how it supports chapter growth and stability, and how it aligns chapters with PMI’s long-term vision. By the end of the session, leaders will have a foundational understanding of MORE and how it will shape future chapter planning, collaboration, and strategic decision-making.

PMI Region 4 Mentor

About the Presenter

Brian Gregory, PMP, has dedicated 29 years of his career to mastering the art and science of project management. From leading projects to managing PMOs, he has worked across industries including transportation, security technology, SMT, and automation. In addition to his industry roles, Brian is an adjunct instructor, teaching graduate-level project management courses.

A longtime advocate for giving back, Brian served as a leader in the PMI Rochester Chapter from 2010 to 2023 and now serves as a PMI Global Volunteer supporting 22 PMI chapters across Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey as the Region 4 Mentor. He believes that volunteering isn’t just a responsibility – it’s a way to strengthen the profession and create lasting impact.

Brian holds a degree in electrical engineering, an MBA, and a master’s degree in project management. He lives in Livonia, NY, with his wife (Wendy), his dog (Potato), and two cats (Stella and Roxie), all of whom are utterly enamored by his love and passion for Pink Floyd. Whether they truly appreciate The Dark Side of the Moon or just enjoy his endless enthusiasm for it remains up for debate – but either way, they’ve learned to embrace the music.
